I highly recommend personal training with Daniel at First in Flight Athletics! I am 54 years old and in decent shape, but had gotten out of the habit of daily exercise when I started with Daniel. He has designed workouts that help me build confidence in what my body can do, and at the same time challenge me beyond what I thought it could do! He pushes me harder than I would ever push myself, but doesn't let me go over the edge. I feel my endurance and strength growing each week. I'm also working on nutrition with Allison and she's giving me great tips and advice to have a more balanced approach to my nutrition that goes hand in hand with getting in better shape overall. I started training with Daniel in November. I have had 5 knee surgeries including a full knee replacement in 2018. I was told I couldn't squat or do lunges. I've always worked out and not being able to caused me to weaken and gain weight. I started with Daniel and we worked on Flexibility and technique. I quickly loosened up and in the last couple of months I've squatted over 250 lbs and walked 100 feet doing Lunges. Without Daniel's expertise and willingness to change up workouts has given me the ability to once again run with my soccer teams. I wouldn't train with anyone else.
I have been doing 60 minute personal training sessions with Daniel at first in flight athletics, 2 to 3 time a week for a month. He has personalized each session to fit my weight loss goals and my physical abilities. Plus provided a meal plan to aid in reaching my weight loss goals. As an obese woman I was hesitant to join a gym for fear of being judged. Daniel and all the members I have met so far have been friendly and welcoming. At today's weigh in I have lost 23 pounds, 4 inches off my waist, and 2 inches from around my biceps and upper arm area.

Fitness is for everyone, no matter your limitations or fitness ability, if you have an educated, caring, and passionate trainer, like Daniel, he will assist you in crushing your goals and exceeding your limitations, no matter your fitness level! His expertise, gives him the ability to give you the correct weight, intesity, & time to challenge you, improve your performance tremendously but not injure you! I have been blown away literally at every session at what his training has made possible for my body to accomplish. When I started with Daniel I had a healing torn meniscus, a swollen knee, and the beginning of arthritis. I am a 50 yr. old, Correctional Sgt. With my career, part of my yearly recertification requires me to get down on one knee, unassisted, with firearms, and shoot proficiently. Prior to starting with Daniel, I honestly thought my career was over. I was told by my doctor not to do any lunges, let alone weighted & knee to ground. I can thankfully say, in just a SHORT few weeks of personal training with Daniel, I have zero swelling in my knee!!! (This is huge because in the past I'd have consistent swelling with any and all of my workouts.) I can now do weighted knee to ground lunges with zero injury. I have taken minutes off my pace for trail running , due to his training strengthening my core and legs. My balance and core strength has improved as well as my upper body. I'm physically able to do things I never thought I could do, like using a pull up bar or true push ups. It's his knowledge and the ability he has to challenge and encourage his clients, and push them far enough for amazing results without causing injury or crushing their inner athlete spirit ;)
I've had such great results with Daniel as my personal trainer, which I will continue, now I'm ready to conquer my nutritional needs and goals with his wife Allison who is a nutritional coach there at First in Flight! Great appreciation for the both of them!
